More pictures with Nellie, the adorable puppy.
Oliver, blowing kisses with Pater. He loves his Pater. When Simon was this age, every time my Dad got out of his chair, Simon would make a beeline for the chair and sit in it proudly. It became quite a thing. Dad would come back to his chair, only to find it was now Simon’s chair. Every time.
On Friday we went Black Friday Shopping. Crazy. However, it really wasn’t that crazy, because we went pretty late in the morning, and then went for lunch and coffee. All of the Hurd girls, Sara, Samya, and some of the Franklin girls. All the pictures of that are from Hannah:
Meanwhile, the boys were having a great time at home:
They were ALL playing games. And there I was, thinking they were having a boring time. Marty said they had Kai, Jack and Rollie teamed up with them, and after the older boys finished playing the game and were dead (it was some sort of mostly bloodless fight against other teams), they would watch Kai, Rollie, and Jack, who were playing on computers in another room. They stayed alive because they never even left the cap circle. They’d be doing things like shooting a truck, or windows, or slashing the truck’s tires with a knife. Or jumping up and down. Or shooting chickens to watch the explosion of feathers. All from perfect safety.
The apple picture is Rollie’s masterpiece from the whole trip. Just so you know.
Next up — portraits. All kinds of portraits.
